Secret Nazi Science, produced for Go Button Media for Super Channel, is headed to National Geographic Channels for the U.K. and Ireland as part of a slate of new deals signed by Cineflix Rights.

The distributor has notched up slots for a range of science and history content in the run-up to the Banff World Media Festival. “History and science documentaries remain evergreen genres for buyers worldwide—whether it’s fresh perspectives on well-known events like the Second World War, new scientific discoveries about ancient civilizations or enduring brands like Mayday: Air Disaster, now in its 26th season,” said Richard Life, senior VP of acquisitions and co-productions at Cineflix Rights.

“I’ll be at Banff looking to pick up more content in these genres and to partner with North American producers to bring their shows to international audiences,” Life added.

Bell Media opted for seasons 23 to 26 of Mayday: Air Disaster from Cineflix Productions for its English and French channels. Little Sapiens from Idéacom International for CBC will air on Planete+ in France and NHK in Japan. Cineflix Productions’ Summer Qamp feature doc has been picked up by ABC (Australia), NRK (Norway) and YLE (Finland).
