Sky Alum Holly Comiskey Joins Sony Pictures TV

Former Sky exec Holly Comiskey has been appointed country manager for the U.K. and Ireland at Sony Pictures Television (SPT), effective in January.

Comiskey will work under Mark Young, the regional executive VP for Western Europe. She will oversee television and home entertainment distribution, and will also manage SPT’s networks in the U.K. and Ireland. Prior to this appointment, Comiskey was head of acquisitions for the Sky Cinema service. Earlier in her career, she worked for BT TV, The Walt Disney Company and NBCUniversal.

Young remarked: “Holly has fantastic experience of working in a platform and channels environment, negotiating complicated rights agreements for premium content. We are thrilled for Holly to join us and are looking forward to growing our businesses together.”

Comiskey added: “I am delighted to join at this exciting time of integration of the distribution and networks businesses.
