VICELAND Secures New Carriers in Benelux

VICE Media’s VICELAND is becoming available in more than 2 million households in the Netherlands thanks to a pair of new deals with leading carriers in the region.

VICELAND is launching later this month on KPN and T-Mobile. In the region, the channel will offer a variety of international programming and local productions, with such titles as Gaycation, Slutever, Boxing ’82 and The Therapist. It is scheduled to premiere on both platforms on July 18.

VICELAND first became available in the Netherlands last year on Ziggo. The network can also be accessed by Caiway subscribers.

Stefan Tieleman, the general manager of VICELAND and VICE Studios for Benelux, remarked: “Just a little over a year after our launch, these two new deals demonstrate our continued growth and development in region. Through our increased distribution on KPN and T-Mobile, almost all households in the Netherlands will now be able to enjoy our slate of international and ever-growing local productions, all offering VICE’s unique and unfiltered view on the world we live in today.”
