Eccho Rights’ The Clinic Gets 1,000-Plus Episode Renewal

TVE in Spain has ordered more than 1,000 additional episodes of the series The Clinic (Centro Médico), which is distributed by Eccho Rights.

Based on a Belgian format from Tuvalu, The Clinic (Centro Médico) was first introduced to audiences in Spain in 2015. The Spanish version is produced by Zebra Producciones. Eccho Rights has optioned The Clinic for to be remade in France, Italy, Finland and Ukraine.

“The Clinic is a simple but hugely effective format, taking real-life medical cases, shooting on location and allowing each story to play out as in real life, providing gripping and emotional storylines every day,” said Nicola Söderlund, managing partner at Eccho Rights.
