Eccho Rights Hires for Digital Media Acquisition & Sales Role

Eccho Rights has appointed Calinos Entertainment alum Melis Hamamcioglu as director of digital media acquisition and content sales.

Hamamcioglu will manage sales of the company’s full catalog in MENA, Israel and India, and will handle Turkish drama sales in Western Europe. She will also work on acquiring content specifically for digital platforms. She will work out of Eccho Rights’ London office, which opened in 2021.

Hamamcioglu joins from Calinos Entertainment, where has was international content sales director for three-and-a-half years. She previously held various sales and acquisitions roles at Fox Networks Group and Digiturk (now beIN).

Having seen the additional value that this is bringing our existing rights holders, we are now ramping up our efforts to identify the next great content that can work specifically on these platforms.”
