Movistar+ Boards Inaugural Conecta FICTION Event

MADRID: Movistar+ has come on board as a partner for the inaugural edition of Conecta FICTION, dedicated to the international co-production of scripted content for television.

Taking place in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, from June 20 to 23, the event aims to become a must-attend meeting point and business platform for the co-production of TV fiction between Latin America, the U.S. Hispanic market and Europe. Movistar+ has signed an agreement to collaborate and support this first edition. This includes participating as an investor and co-producer, supporting the international co-production pitching session, and offering a contract to develop one of the ten series selected by the Conecta FICTION committee.
