A+E Networks UK Taps Benelux Regional Director

LONDON: A+E Networks UK has appointed Jessica Haagmans as regional director for Benelux, a newly created role that is effective at the end of September.

Haagmans will be A+E Networks’s first staff member in the region, based out of the company’s new Benelux office in Amsterdam. She will be responsible for expanding the growth of A+E’s portfolio of channels, strengthening the company’s relationships with its affiliate partners and media sales house in the region and finding new commercial opportunities, with a focus on digital platforms. She will work under Nicolas Eglau, A+E Networks UK’s chief operating officer and general manager for the Nordics, Benelux and CEEMEA.

Haagmans previously served as the managing director of Affilinet Benelux, where she handled all sales activity in the region and streamlined the company’s client-facing processes while leading the acquisition of Cleafs. She is also a board member of the Association of Platform Affiliate Networks in the Netherlands. Earlier in her career, Haagmans held senior positions at such companies as Sanoma, Urbanology Group and IDTV.
