Eurosport Scores Wimbledon Rights for the U.K.

LONDON: Eurosport has secured a five-year agreement with the AELTC to show live simulcast coverage in the U.K. of the Wimbledon finals and highlights, making it the only broadcaster in the country to show live coverage of all four Grand Slams.

Eurosport has bagged the U.K. rights for the Wimbledon Gentlemen’s and Ladies’ Singles finals and daily 90-minute highlights shows for the duration of The Championships, Wimbledon. The BBC will continue to broadcast daily live coverage of The Championships in the U.K. across BBC One, BBC Two and online, and remains the AELTC’s primary U.K. broadcast partner for the 2016-20 term.
