Quebecor Content & Sony Renew Partnership

Quebecor Content has renewed its multiplatform agreement with Sony Pictures Television Canada, which covers such series as The Good Doctor and S.W.A.T.

The long-term partnership enables Quebecor Content to offer a selection of Sony’s French-language content for the Quebec market.

“This partnership is a testament to the strength of our relationship with Sony Pictures Television Canada,” said Yann Paquet, the VP of Quebecor Content. “It will not only give us access to some of the best Sony Pictures French-language films and series but also gives us full flexibility as to how we wish to program the content on TVA Group’s linear channels and on our SVOD service, Club illico, a token of their confidence in Quebecor Content. This major deal with our longstanding partner will help us continue to offer viewers in Quebec the very best French-language content.”
