Boat Rocker Studios has promoted Shaleen Sangha from senior director to VP of Radical Sheep, which produces such kids’ series as Fangbone! and The Bagel and Becky Show.

In her new role, Sangha will immediately oversee all of Radical Sheep’s day-to-day activities, including development and production. She will work directly under Ivan Schneeberg and David Fortier, co-executive chairmen of Boat Rocker Media and co-presidents of Boat Rocker Studios.

“Shaleen has proven to be a tremendous asset since joining the Radical Sheep team last year, both in terms of expanding our awesome development slate and providing passionate and effective oversight to Radical Sheep’s current productions,” said Schneeberg and Fortier. “Shaleen has very quickly integrated herself into the fabric of Boat Rocker, and we’re looking forward to working with her as we continue to build Radical Sheep into a world leader in kids’ entertainment.”

Sangha is taking over for Michelle Melanson, whose final day at Radical Sheep is today. “We thank Michelle for all of her hard work and efforts here at Boat Rocker and Radical Sheep, and we wish her well in her future endeavors,” noted Schneeberg and Fortier.

Meanwhile, David Lerech was elevated from VP to senior VP of factual producer Crooked Horse. He will continue to manage all day-to-day activities at the company, including development and production. He will report to Schneeberg and Fortier.

“Dave has proven to be an extraordinary asset for Boat Rocker,” added Schneeberg and Fortier. “Within a very short time, Dave assembled a team that we consider to be among the best in the business, helped us launch the Crooked Horse brand and, together with his team, put together a stellar development and production slate, including the new series Late Night Eats, History in the Making and the upcoming Vintage Tech Hunters. His promotion is well-deserved!”
