Incendo Preps Crime Thriller

MONTREAL: Principal photography has begun on the Incendo film Serialized, starring Vanessa Ray (Blue Bloods, Pretty Little Liars).

Produced with the participation of Bell Media, Serialized is the first film Incendo is producing as it marks its 15th year in the industry. Serialized centers on novelist Hannah Ryan, who begins posting chapters of a pulp crime serial to subscribers’ online devices after she is dropped by her publisher. Hannah’s story becomes a success when a real-life murder takes place that is very similar to the one described in her writing. The question becomes: Is the murder a coincidence, or is there a copy-cat serial killer waiting to strike again once Hannah releases the next chapter in her story?

In addition to Ray, the movie will star Canadian actors Adam Korson (Seed, Real Rob) and Tara Spencer-Nairn (Corner Gas, The Listener). The film is being shot in Montreal and will be directed by Michel Poulette (Brace for Impact, Maïna, Bonanno: A Godfather’s Story).

Bureau and Ian Whitehead will produce the film for Incendo. Additionally, Bureau will serve as executive producer.
