BBC Studios has signed a multiyear output deal with Japan’s U-NEXT for premium British content across all genres.

Under the agreement, U-NEXT will have access to more than 3,000 episodes of SVOD localized titles such as Luther, Death in Paradise, Father Brown and Top Gear. It marks the first multiyear deal between the two parties, with the license period starting this month.

With this new deal, we are thrilled to both deepen our established and trusted relationship with BBC Studios, as well as offer our customers an expanded volume of quality British programming.”
