The Crown Leads BAFTA TV Nominations

The nominations for the 2024 BAFTA Television Craft Awards and BAFTA Television Awards with P&O Cruises have been revealed, with eight nominations for The Crown, seven for “Demon 79” (Black Mirror) and six each for Happy Valley, Slow Horses and The Sixth Commandment.

Lead actress nods went to Anjana Vasan for “Demon 79” (Black Mirror), Anne Reid for The Sixth Commandment, Bella Ramsey for The Last of Us, Helena Bonham Carter for Nolly, Sarah Lancashire for Happy Valley and Sharon Horgan for Best Interests.

The lead actor nominees are Brian Cox for Succession, Dominic West for The Crown, Kane Robinson for Top Boy, Paapa Essiedu for The Lazarus Project, Steve Coogan for The Reckoning and Timothy Spall for The Sixth Commandment.

The supporting nominees for actress are Elizabeth Debicki for The Crown, Harriet Walter for Succession, Jasmine Jobson for Top Boy, Lesley Manville for The Crown, Nico Parker for The Last of Us and Siobhan Finneran for Happy Valley. For actor, they are Amit Shah for Happy Valley, Éanna Hardwicke for The Sixth Commandment, Harris Dickinson for A Murder at the End of the World, Jack Lowden for Slow Horses, Matthew Macfadyen for Succession and Salim Daw for The Crown.

For comedy, actress nods went to Bridget Christie for The Change, Gbemisola Ikumelo for Black Ops, Máiréad Tyers for Extraordinary, Roisin Gallagher for The Lovers, Sofia Oxenham for Extraordinary and Taj Atwal for Hullraisers. The actor nominees for comedy are Adjani Salmon for Dreaming Whilst Black, David Tennant for Good Omens, Hammed Animashaun for Black Ops, Jamie Demetriou for A Whole Lifetime with Jamie Demetriou, Joseph Gilgun for Brassic and Mawaan Rizwan for Juice.

Drama series nominees are The Gold, Happy Valley, Slow Horses and Top Boy.

For limited drama, the nominees are Best Interests, The Sixth Commandment, The Long Shadow and “Demon 79” (Black Mirror).

Scripted comedy nods went to Dreaming Whilst Black, Such Brave Girls, Big Boys and Extraordinary.

Entertainment program nominees are Strictly Come Dancing, Later… With Jools Holland, Michael McIntyre’s Big Show and Hannah Waddingham: Home For Christmas.

The reality contenders are Banged Up; Married At First Sight UK; My Mum, Your Dad; and Squid Game: The Challenge.

International program nominees feature Love & Death, The Last of Us, Succession, The Bear, Beef and Class Act.
