Tiffany Haddish to Voice New Netflix Cartoon from BoJack Horseman Team

Netflix has added to its animation slate Tuca & Bertie, which comes from the team behind the comedic cartoon BoJack Horseman.

Tuca & Bertie is about the friendship between two 30-year-old bird women who live in the same apartment building. The 10-episode show will feature the voice of Tiffany Haddish (Girls Trip) as the lead character. It was created by Lisa Hanawalt (BoJack Horseman), who is exec producing alongside BoJack Horseman‘s Raphael Bob-Waksberg, Noel Bright and Steven A. Cohen, as well as Haddish.

Tuca & Bertie is being produced by Michael Eisner’s The Tornante Company, with animation being done at Shadowmachine.
