Netflix Goes for More Friends from College

Netflix has renewed the comedy Friends from College for an eight-episode sophomore season.

The series follows a group of friends from Harvard played by Keegan-Michael Key (Ethan), Cobie Smulders (Lisa), Annie Parisse (Sam), Nat Faxon (Nick), Fred Savage (Max) and Jae Suh Park (Marianne). Friends from College explores the characters’ old friendships and former romantic entanglements. It also looks at how these friends in their forties are balancing adult life with nostalgia for the past.

The series was co-created by Nicholas Stoller (Neighbors, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Get Him to the Greek) and Francesca Delbanco. Both Stoller and Delbanco serve as executive producers. Stoller also directs while Delbanco writes.
