NBC has ordered a second season of St. Denis Medical, a mockumentary series about an underfunded, understaffed Oregon hospital.

The series follows as the dedicated doctors and nurses try their best to treat patients while maintaining their own sanity.

The cast features Wendi McLendon-Covey (The Goldbergs, Reno 911!), David Alan Grier (Living Color, Martin), Allison Tolman (Fargo, Why Women Kill), Josh Lawson (House of Lies, Superstore), Kahyun Kim (Cocaine Bear, American Gods), Mekki Leeper (Jury Duty, The Sex Lives of College Girls) and Kaliko Kauahi (Superstore, Raven’s Home).

St. Denis Medical is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, and Spitzer Holding Company. It airs Tuesdays on NBC and streams the next day on Peacock.

The series has been nominated for a Critics Choice Award for best comedy series, and Grier has received nominations for both a Critics Choice Award for best actor in a comedy series and an NAACP Image Award for outstanding actor in a comedy series.
