Justin Lin Inks Overall Deal with Apple

Apple has signed producer and director Justin Lin (Fast & Furious franchise, Star Trek: Beyond) and his Perfect Storm Entertainment to an exclusive, multiyear overall deal to develop, produce and direct TV series.

Lin joins Apple following his long-standing overall TV deal at Sony. He founded Perfect Storm Entertainment in 2012 and produced the series Scorpion, which ran for four seasons on CBS, as well as the currently airing S.W.A.T. and Magnum P.I. and the upcoming Warrior for Cinemax.

Perfect Storm Entertainment TV will be run by Andrew Schneider, who most recently oversaw the TV department for Free Association and previously was at Fox 21 Television Studios.
