International Academy & JCS Intl. Open Young Creatives Competition

NEW YORK: The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and JCS International have announced the opening of the recently launched JCS International Young Creatives Award, which will kick off with “Women Peacemakers” as its inaugural theme.

The competition is designed to discover, recognize and foster young talent while creating a global conversation around peace. The new competition is open to entrants from around the world between the ages of 18 and 29. Entrants must submit a one-minute video on the theme of the year. Three winners will be flown to New York to receive the award at the International Emmy World Television Festival Nominee Medal Ceremony, alongside the International Emmy Award nominees, on Saturday, November 18. They will also be invited to attend the International Emmy Awards Gala, on Monday, November 20.

“An important mission for the International Academy is finding young TV talent from around the world and shining a spotlight on their work. This new award helps us do that,” said Bruce L. Paisner, the president and CEO of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

“This award brings together two of my great passions in life—supporting young artists and promoting peace,” added Michal Grayevsky, the president of JCS International and a board member of the International Academy. “I encourage young creatives—and especially young women—from every corner of the globe to participate in this exciting new competition.”
