Inter Medya Sells Mrs. Fazilet & More at MIPCOM

Inter Medya presented a number of highlights in Cannes last week, including Avsar Film’s new drama series Mrs. Fazilet and Her Daughters, which piqued the interest of global buyers.

The company also secured a number of sales for Hayat, a dramedy from Bi Yapim. “We have secured a deal in Sri Lanka, where interest in Turkish series is taking off,” said Can Okan, founder and CEO of Inter Medya, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.

In addition, the company launched the entertainment formats Money Monster, a quiz show, as well as 1 vs. 10, a new production from BKM, which saw particular success in Western Europe.

“MIPCOM is always one of our busiest markets,” added Okan. “Featuring prospective buyers and long-time clients from around the world, MIPCOM is a great opportunity for us to reconnect with our customers and present our newest titles.”
