Keshet International (KI) is heading to MIPCOM with a slate of new original formats, including the ratings hit Masters of Dance, as well as returning dramas, factual series and kids’ programming.

The studio-based competition format Masters of Dance was recently renewed for a second season in Israel. “For big networks looking for distinctive, tentpole, shiny-floor series, Masters of Dance is a brilliant choice,” says Keren Shahar, the COO and president of distribution at Keshet International. “It’s a proven, ratings-winning prime-time series with amazing energy and nonstop action.”

The company is also promoting Domination, a national TV event that sees one studio contestant attempt to outsmart the entire nation in a game of knowledge and power. Then there is Celebrity Showmance, a high-concept comedy entertainment show created, developed and produced by Keshet UK for ITV2. “Six single celebrities are paired into three very unlikely ‘couples’ who go to hilarious lengths to convince the public that they’re in a real romantic relationship,” says Shahar.

“We continue to deliver concepts that are genre-busting and original, but also fully developed and tried-and-tested in their country of origin,” Shahar adds of KI’s format highlights.

Inspired by real events, Commandments explores the complex relationship between religion and war. “It is a powerful drama that follows a group of young adults who choose to defy the strict conventions of their closed, orthodox societies and join the army,” says Shahar.

Generation B tells the story of six young people who are trying to make ends meet in the city of Brussels. “It’s a fresh take on what it’s like to be young in a world with an increasingly aging population, where life no longer looks promising,” says Shahar.

There is also The Brave, a co-production between Universal Television and Keshet Studios spotlighting unsung war heroes and featuring “a roller-coaster journey of exciting global missions and covert ops.”

She adds, “Our commitment to finding even more fresh voices is stronger than ever, and we look forward to showcasing more outstanding dramas.”

From true-crime specialists Woodcut Media and Nanny Jo Productions comes Jo Frost on Killer Kids. The hard-hitting, taboo true-crime series fronted by renowned child behavioral expert Jo Frost (Supernanny, Family Matters) looks into the unsettling circumstances that can lead a child to kill.
