LOS ANGELES: Michael Rosenberg has been upped from senior VP of original scripted series programming at Entertainment One (eOne) to executive VP of U.S. scripted television.

Rosenberg will oversee the development and current programming teams, as well as the production of the company’s TV side. He will work closely with Benedict Carver, eOne’s senior VP of filmed entertainment, to identify and develop new opportunities and partnerships in the U.S.

"Michael is an extremely talented creative executive with a great eye for material,” said John Morayniss, the CEO of eOne Television. “He has played a critical role in the development of our current slate of projects and has been instrumental in attracting much of the company’s high-profile relationships such as Dmitry Lipkin and Collette Burson (Hung) and John Grisham (The Firm).”

“My goal is to focus on seeking out high-quality projects and ideas that really resonate with U.S. audiences,” commented Rosenberg. “Together with the strong development team of Jen Chambers and Adam Blumberg and the current department led by Larry Gilbert, we’ll work to expand our relationships with key creative talent to develop and produce innovative television for the U.S. as well as eOne’s global partners.”
