Lindsay Lohan to Play Elizabeth Taylor in Lifetime Biopic

LOS ANGELES: Lindsay Lohan has been cast as the screen legend Elizabeth Taylor in the new Lifetime original movie Liz & Dick, which will be sold by A+E Networks.

The original movie will share the fiery love story of Taylor and actor Richard Burton. Production is slated to begin in June in Los Angeles. Larry A. Thompson Productions is producing. Larry A. Thompson (Amish Grace, Lucy & Desi) will serve as executive producer, with Christopher Monger (Temple Grandin) writing.

Lohan commented, “I have always admired and had enormous respect for Elizabeth Taylor. She was not only an incredible actress but an amazing woman as well. I am very honored to have been asked to play this role.”
