BURBANK: Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) has appointed company veteran Preston Kevin Lewis as senior VP of retail business development.

Lewis previously served as general manager of WBCP in the U.K. and Ireland. In his new position, he works directly under Pam Lifford, president of WBCP. He is charged with managing all aspects of the retail business development department, including the development and implementation of domestic retail business strategies, programs and promotions that maximize growth opportunities across all lines of business and retail channels, while aligning with strategic marketing, sales and brand portfolio initiatives.

In addition, Lewis is overseeing the development of strategic business plans and retail campaigns that support the sell-in and execution of the company’s key retail initiatives, revenue goals and merchandising strategies, and is collaborating with all Warner Bros. and Time Warner divisions to increase the effectiveness and scope of all retail initiatives.

Before joining WBCP in 2006, Lewis worked for The Walt Disney Company, Viacom and HBO Home Video.

“Retail is a key pillar for our business, and Preston brings with him deep industry knowledge, experience and strong global relationships that will help shape the future of our retail business development department,” said Lifford. “Preston’s strategic insights and management skills will complement the seasoned sales team in place, and we are thrilled to have him on board.”
