ABC Renews Wipeout for Season Seven

BURBANK: Wipeout, a series that features the world's largest extreme obstacle course, is coming back to ABC for a seventh season.

For the first time, winners will be brought together at the end of the season to take part in a "Tournament of Champions." John Anderson, John Henson and Jill Wagner continue to serve as hosts.

“We are always looking for ways to keep the show fresh and exciting,” said Matt Kunitz, the creator and executive producer. “This year, we are amping up the competition with a season long tournament of champions, with the winner from each episode returning to compete against the other winners in an epic battle for the title of Wipeout Champion.”
