ABC Orders Second Season of Wipeout

BURBANK, August 7: ABC has
picked up a second season of the competition show Wipeout from Endemol USA, after the series has consistently
scored well this summer.

In six telecasts, Wipeout,
which airs at 8 p.m. on Tuesdays, has ranked as the number two show of the week in
total viewers and adults 18 to 49. Since its debut, Wipeout stands as the summer’s number one TV program with
men 18 to 49 and men 25 to 54. The show represents TV’s highest-rated freshman
summer series in three years for adults 18 to 49.

Each week, 24 new
contestants go head to head through four rounds of obstacle courses to win the
title of Wipeout Champion and the grand prize of $50,000.

Wipeout is hosted by John Anderson (SportsCenter) and John Henson (Talk Soup) with Jill Wagner as co-host. The show is produced
by Endemol USA. The series is executive-produced by Matt Kunitz and Scott
Larsen is co-executive producer.
