Blue Ant International and Zeppelin Films, a new U.K. indie production company, have signed an exclusive two-year first-look distribution agreement.

Through the deal, Blue Ant International gains the format and distribution rights to all future Zeppelin content in addition to the company’s two recently announced commissions, Rich Kids Go Homeless and Respect Your Elders. The former follows wealthy British 20-somethings as they experience life on the streets for three days, while the latter sees a young person living with a person over age 70 in each episode. This first-look deal includes all scripted and non-scripted programs produced by Zeppelin until 2021.

Solange Attwood, executive VP at Blue Ant International, said: “Global buyers want high-quality programming that features interesting characters and unique access from trusted creative talent. We have profound respect for Elliot Reed and this first-look deal with Zeppelin Films will no doubt allow us to provide a reliable pipeline of new and unique properties to the global markets.”

Elliot Reed, Zeppelin Films founder, added: “I’m very excited to be working with Solange Attwood, Alex Maldini and the team at Blue Ant International. Zeppelin Films was founded to make thought-provoking and engaging formats and documentaries. We’ve hit the ground running and look forward to developing more exciting brand-new shows that will engage, entertain and sell internationally.”
