Maverick Television, an all3media company, has appointed Hannah Brownhill as its new creative director.

In her new role as part of the company’s senior management team, Brownhill will lead Maverick towards future development and growth by adding new and distinctive popular factual and factual-entertainment shows to its slate. She will assume the creative director post on May 13, and report directly to Maverick CEO Simon Knight.

Prior to joining Maverick Television, Brownhill most recently served as the director of development at Renegade Pictures, where she revamped the factual-entertainment slate with returning formats and paid development projects, including The Week the Landlords Moved In, An Hour To Save A Life (BBC), Worlds Toughest Jobs (BBC3), House Doctor Returns (C5) and Secrets In My Family (W). Before she headed up development at the company, she worked on such series as Would Like to Meet, House Doctor, How Clean is Your House, Four Rooms and Great British Railway Journeys.

Brownhill said: “I am thrilled to be joining Maverick. This is where I got my first job in TV, so to return as creative director is incredibly exciting. I’m a big fan of their brands and bolder formats and look forward to working up the next generation of must-see TV with Simon and the team.”

Knight added: “Hannah has a brilliant track record in developing bold and hugely popular shows. I’m delighted to welcome her to Maverick TV and look forward to working together to build on Maverick TV’s success in devising new and very watchable formats.”
