Asylum Entertainment Group has landed first-look deals with filmmakers Lamont Pete and his Water2Drink Productions and John H. Kelleher and his Mohawk Puppy Productions.

Pete has been behind non-scripted shows such as BET’s Sunday Best, hosted by music mogul Kirk Franklin, The CW’s Pussycat Dolls and MTV’s reality trailblazer The Real World. Kelleher’s credits include VH1’s Baller Wives, TNT’s wrestling docuseries Rhodes to the Top, Discovery’s Tales from the Explorers Club and more.

The news comes on the heels of Asylum’s recent investments in UK-based production companies DARE Pictures, Soho Studios and Moon&Back Media.

“The addition of Lamont and John to our roster of talent reflects our unwavering commitment to delivering innovative and engaging nonscripted content,” says Jodi Flynn, president of Asylum Entertainment Group. “Their unique perspectives bring a new dynamic to our work, and we are eager to start collaborating with them to curate an exciting slate.”
