Asylum Entertainment Group Expands to Canada

Asylum Entertainment Group has opened an office in Vancouver, Canada, with Brad Bernstein tapped to oversee its growth.

Bernstein, chief content officer at Texas Crew Productions, a company now under Asylum’s banner, currently oversees more than 50 hours of programming for linear and digital platforms across documentaries, docureality, true crime, history and more. He will relocate to Vancouver to establish an executive presence at the new office.

In addition, longtime Asylum employee James Macnab has been promoted to executive VP and will report directly to Bernstein. Previously, Macnab service ed as senior VP of content, overseeing current programming across a slate of feature documentaries, limited series and series, including Shaq Life for TNT, Eli Roth’s History of Horror for AMC, In Ice Cold Blood for Oxygen and Sins of the Amish and Menendez + Menudo: Boys Betrayed for Peacock.
