Asylum Entertainment Invests in Soho Studios

Asylum Entertainment Group has made a strategic investment in The Playboy Bunny Murder producer Soho Studios Entertainment.

The production house, established in 2022, has offices in London and Glasgow. Its slate includes Marcel Theroux’s two-part true-crime series The Playboy Bunny Murder (ITV) and Tim’s Listening Party, a podcast headlined by Tim Burgess of The Charlatans.

Soho Studios Entertainment recently began developing a new podcast starring Jonny Owen and his wife, Vicky McClure (Line of Duty, This is England), who recently was honored as a Member of the Order of the British Empire by King Charles III.

The investment follows Asylums recent investment in U.K.-based production company Moon&Back Media and a creative partnership with Scott Weintrob and his Large Eyes Entertainment. Previously, Asylum solidified first-look deals withRage Against the Machines Tom Morello and his Comandante Productions, as well as theNew York Post.
