Telemundo Signs Exclusive Content Deal with TVN Chile

MIAMI: Telemundo Media has scored the exclusive rights in the U.S. and Mexico for TVN Chile’s entire library of novela scripts across all media platforms.

Telemundo also renewed its global representation agreement with TVN for five years, extending their existing relationship. Telemundo gains access to TVN’s telenovela scripts to be developed by Telemundo in Mexico or the U.S. Telemundo Studios has produced several titles based on adaptations of TVN novela scripts in the past, including ¿Donde está Elisa?

"The expansion of our strategic alliance with TVN is key to Telemundo Media, as it provides an excellent source of original and innovative stories for our catalog and strengthens the network’s original programming in the United States," said Marcos Santana, the president of Telemundo Internacional. "This agreement is in line with our programming strategy of offering original productions based on a unique type of storytelling."

Our alliance with Telemundo has been essential to our efforts to position TVN Chile outside of our country."
