MIAMI: Telemundo Internacional and Globo TV International are teaming up to co-produce Fina Estampa, an adaptation of Globo’s original story.

The adaptation will start pre-production this summer. It will be show at Telemundo Studios in Miami. The two companies will share the international distribution rights. The new co-production builds on the previous success the companies had with The Clone, which was sold in more than 50 countries.

"This telenovela has all the necessary ingredients to captivate the U.S Hispanic market, as well as telenovela fans around the world," said Marcos Santana, the president of Telemundo Internacional.

"We believe that with the creativity and effort of both companies, we will make an even greater version of Fina Estampa. We are very happy to be partnering once again with Telemundo on this second co-production," stated Raphael Correa Netto, the head of international sales at Globo.
