Made in Cartagena Premieres in African Countries

BOGOTÁ: Caracol TV’s telenovela Made in Cartagena is set to debut in several African countries today.

The Star Novela E1 network will broadcast the program across South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda. It will then air on the channel Monday through Fridays at 6 p.m. Caracol TV International is handling the show's worldwide distribution.

The novela tells the story of Flora, a woman who dedicated her life to the champeta dance style before accidentally becoming involved in a theft gang. Carmen Villalobos, Miguel de Miguel and Khris Cifuentes lead the cast, along with Fernando Solórzano, Matilde Lemaitre, Edgar Vittorino and Tatiana Renteria, among others.
