SÃO PAULO: Brazilian broadcaster Globo has licensed its latest telenovela, Brave Woman, to channels across South America and Africa.

In Latin America, Uruguay’s Teledoce and Chile’s Canal 13 will air the 140×45-minute program. Over in Africa, Angola’s TPA1 and Mozambique’s STV have snapped up the show’s rights.

Brave Woman tells the story of Morena (Nanda Costa), a woman who is tricked into going to Turkey for work and ends up the victim of a human trafficking gang. The telenovela was presented at last month’s NATPE in Miami.
