Three-Day DISCOP Dubai Concludes

DISCOP Dubai, which returned for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic, wrapped on May 19, following a strong showing.

The three-day market saw 565 participants, with 89 companies offering content, formats and adaptation rights and 184 programmers and acquisition and commissioning executives representing 121 MENA broadcasters, premium channels, pay-TV services, OTT platforms and telcos.

DISCOP Dubai featured a strong focus on co-productions. Thirty-six films, TV series and animation projects from nine Middle Eastern countries were pitched to more than 100 buyers and production partners over the course of the three days.

The 2023 edition of DISCOP Dubai will take place at the beginning of May, a few days after the end of Ramadan. Final dates will be announced later.
