Viacom International Studios (VIS) has closed a deal for Latin America that will bring two new VIS productions, Homens? and Dani Who?, to Amazon Prime Video.

Homens? is a comedy series that follows four close friends who are dealing with the conflicts of understanding what it means to be a man. The series was recently produced in Brazil and is slated for a 2019 premiere.

Dani Who? follows as Dani and her friends investigate their shared origin after the disappearance of a friend. Dani Who? is scheduled to begin production in 2019.

In Latin America, both series will be available to stream exclusively on Prime Video.

“Amazon is committed to delivering great content to our Prime Video members across Latin America and this new relationship with the VIS team will bring two new and compelling stories to our service for audiences to enjoy,” said Pablo Iacoviello, head of content for Latin America at Amazon Prime Video. “We remain focused on adding locally relevant content, so we’re especially thrilled about adding Homens? to our catalog of titles as an exclusive Brazilian series.”

“We are very happy to be working with Amazon on this important deal for our Viacom International Studios,” commented Pierluigi Gazzolo, president of VIMN – Americas. “ Since presenting our new slate of programming earlier this year, we have worked closely with the team at Amazon to create a tailor-made package to fulfill their content needs for Latin America and to extend the reach of our product throughout the region. We look forward to continuing this partnership to deliver high-quality series to our shared audiences across the region.”
