MIAMI: Telemundo Media has entered into the TV Everywhere market with the launch of the Telemundo Now app, available for download at the App Store and Google Play.

The new platform allows authenticated subscribers of participating services—including AT&T U-verse, Cablevision's Optimum TV, Charter, Comcast's Xfinity TV, Cox Communications, DIRECTV, DISH, Mediacom, Suddenlink and Verizon FiOS—to access Telemundo episodes the day after they air.

Telemundo is the fourth network within NBCUniversal to offer a TV Everywhere service.

“Telemundo Now demonstrates Telemundo’s investment in creating the best platforms to serve our digitally savvy viewers,” said Peter Blacker, the executive VP of digital and emerging businesses at Telemundo Media. “As our audiences embrace new mobile and web viewing technologies, we are dedicated to delivering the most enhanced high quality viewing experience whenever they want, on the screen of their choice.”

“We are always looking to connect our clients' brands with audiences in the video space across screens and in new and innovative ways,” added Marla Skiko, the executive VP of digital innovation at SMG Multicultural. “Telemundo Now will allow our clients to connect with the video hungry Hispanic viewer who is watching their favorite Telemundo programs on their device of choice and on their own time.”
