New Tr3s Series Profiles Latin Superstars

MIAMI: Tr3s: MTV, Música y Más is launching the new original biography series La Escalera, which features a range of today’s Latin superstars, including comedian Carlos Mencia, gossip blogger Perez Hilton and actor Wilmer Valderrama, among others.

La Escalera season one will profile Spanish rock icon Juanes, Latino astronaut and politician Jose Hernandez and Puerto Rican superstars Ivy Queen and Tego Calderon, in addition to Mencia, Hilton and Valderrama. The show kicks off tonight with the story of Perez Hilton.

“The new biographical series delivers on our audience’s appetite for content that casts an inspiring, authentic and positive light on Latinos who have thrived to extraordinary success in this country," said Charlie Singer, the senior VP of content and creative for Tr3s.
