LOS ANGELES: Hulu has launched a dedicated Spanish-language programming service, Hulu Latino, featuring content from Univision, Caracol Televisión and Comarex, among others.

The entire current season of prime-time shows from Univision, Galavision and Telefutura are available to users of the Hulu Plus subscription service. Users of the free Hulu service have next-day access to a selection of current season programming. Spanish-language content partners are Azteca America, Butaca, Caracol Televisión, Comarex, Estrella TV, Imagina US, Laguna Productions, Maya Entertainment, RCTV, Todobebe and Venevision.

The new hub for Spanish-language movies and TV shows can be found by accessing a new tab, Hulu Latino, on the top of the Hulu homepage. Content is sorted by genres such as novelas, comedies and variety shows.

"As it launches today, Hulu Latino is the first time that such a robust, Spanish-language premium content collection has been available through an online video service in the U.S.," said Andy Forssell, the senior VP of content, in a blog post. "And this is just the beginning. There’s much more to come in the months ahead."
