NBCUniversal Hires New General Counsel for Hispanic Division

NEW YORK: Ana Salas Siegel, a former executive at Fox Latin America Channels and FOX International Channels, has been hired as general counsel for NBCUniversal’s Hispanic enterprises and content unit.

Salas Siegel will assume the role June 1, reporting to Joe Uva, chairman of Hispanic enterprises and content, and Kimberley D. Harris, the executive VP and general counsel for NBCUniversal. She will oversee all legal resources, including the division’s business and legal affairs team. Additionally, the exec will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the legal department, and supervising all legal and business affairs issues impacting the group. Salas Siegel will also work closely with NBCUniversal’s corporate legal resources on transactional, litigation and employment law, as well as intellectual property, labor relations and compliance matters.

Previously, Salas Siegel worked at Fox Latin America Channels and Fox International Channels, most recently serving as the senior VP and deputy general counsel for business and legal affairs.
