Caracol, MarVista & Snap Team for Second Co-Pro

LOS ANGELES: Production has begun on the film Cup of Love, marking the second co-production between Colombia’s Caracol Televisión, Los Angeles-based MarVista Entertainment and Argentina’s Snap Distribution.

The movie will be shot near the Colombian city of Medellin. A romantic comedy, the film stars Anna Hutchison (The Cabin in the Woods) alongside Colombian actors Nicolas Rincon (Sin tetas no hay paraíso) and Julian Arango (Metástasis, Yo soy Betty, la fea). MarVista will handle distribution to the global market outside of Latin America, where Snap Distribution controls the rights.

The first movie co-produced by the partners, Abducted, debuted at this year’s MIPCOM.
