Alberto Ciurana Joins Univision Networks

MIAMI: Alberto Ciurana, who most recently served as the head of programming at Televisa, is joining Univision Networks as president of programming and content.

Based in Miami, Ciurana will report to Cesar Conde, the president of Univision Networks. Ciurana is tasked with oversight for all Univision’s broadcast and cable networks. He comes to the role having spent 15 years as head of programming at Televisa. He also worked at Univision Network early on in his career.

Luis Fernandez will serve as president of Univision Studios, reporting to Conde. Jessica Rodriguez, the executive VP of program scheduling and promotions, will report to Ciurana.
