ABTA 2015 Kicks Off with Focus on Pay-TV Challenges

SÃO PAULO: The ABTA Expo & Conference has kicked off today at the Transamérica Expo Center, where top executives are set to discuss their vision of the opportunities and challenges in the Brazilian pay-TV market, among other topics.

Panels and sessions scheduled for today include The Present and Future of the Pay-TV Market; Free-to-Air Channels: What Changes with Digital?; The Challenges of Regulation in the Non-Linear World; Consumer Rights, RGC and Service Quality; Rights, IP and Financing in Pay-TV Programming; and Signal Theft: Approaches and Results.

The ABTA conference, which is organized by Converge Comunicações, will also address issues related to the production of audiovisual content for pay TV, the programming market and the growth of advertising in this medium. The conference will also include training seminars, in which specific cases and market solutions will be presented.

The ABTA Expo & Conference 2015 takes place in São Paulo through August 6.
