Marcos Santana Set for MIP Cancun Keynote

Marcos Santana, the president of Telemundo Global Studios, will deliver a keynote address at this year’s MIP Cancun Online+.

The seventh edition of Reed MIDEM’s annual Latin American TV market will be digital only this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. More than 300 international TV distributors, buyers and commissioners have confirmed their participation at the virtual market, which runs November 17 to 20.

In his keynote, Santana will share Telemundo Global Studios’ strategy for cross-platform development and production and following COVID-19 safety guidelines. He will also highlight some of the upcoming series from Telemundo like La Suerte de Loli and Armas de Mujer, which will be featured on NBCUniversal’s streaming platform, Peacock.

MIP Cancun has also confirmed JC Acosta, president of ViacomCBS Networks Americas as a keynote speaker.
