More Barbie: A Touch of Magic Coming to Netflix

Netflix has slated the second-season premiere of Mattel Television’s Barbie: A Touch of Magic for April 18 in select territories.

The 13 new episodes, which see Barbie “Brooklyn” Roberts and Barbie “Malibu” Roberts embark on an adventure to recover a missing magical crystal, will be available in April in the U.S., Spain, South Africa, the Nordics, Benelux and the Asia Pacific, excluding China.

They will premiere in other territories and regions, including Portugal, the U.K., the Middle East, Turkey, Greece, Latin America, Poland, Central and Eastern Europe, France, Italy and Germany, later this year.

Beyond Netflix, other global distribution partners for Barbie: A Touch of Magic season two are POP in the U.K., Super RTL in Germany, Gulli in France, Cartoonito in Italy, Canal Panda in Portugal, Cartoon Network in MENA, Zoom in Israel, Minimax in Eastern Europe, MiniMini in Poland, Ejunior in the United Arab Emirates and Discovery Kids in Latin America.

The April 18 debut of season two will be accompanied by a full music EP, including the singles “Got the Magic Touch” and “Center Stage.”

Christopher Keenan and Frederic Soulie are executive producers of the series on behalf of Mattel. Scott Pleydell-Pearce is series director.
