eOne Sends Transformers: EarthSpark to the U.K.

Entertainment One (eOne) has signed a deal with the BBC to broadcast season one of Transformers: EarthSpark on CBBC.

Co-produced with Paramount, the series follows as two human kids forge a connection with the first generation of Transformers robots to be born on Earth. The first ten episodes will launch on CBBC on July 24.

The second batch of episodes will continue to roll out on BBC platforms later.

Transformers: EarthSpark has already been greenlit for a second season. The series’ debut on CBBC arrives on the heels of the premiere of the feature film Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. Transformers One, the brand’s first-ever CG animated movie is set to launch in theaters in September 2024.

BBC is the latest partner to sign for Transformers: EarthSpark. eOne previously made deals with Gulli in France, Clan in Spain, Super! In Italy, NRK in Norway, DR in Denmark, TV3 and TV8 in the Baltics, TV Azteca in Mexico, TV Cultura in Brazil, Viu TV in Hong Kong, Channel 5 in Singapore, RTV in Indonesia and TV9 in Malaysia.
