The 52×12-minute show combines entertainment with the theme of environmental responsibility. It is produced by MIAM! animation in collaboration with France Télévisions and Germany’s HR/KiKA.

The show is currently broadcast in various territories around the world, including Italy (Rai Yoyo), Spain (Clan), Switzerland (RTS), Belgium (VRT), the French-speaking world (TV5 Monde), Sweden (SVT), Poland (PULS), Latvia (LTV, LMT) and more.

“We are thrilled to introduce the world of Edmond and Lucy to Chinese audiences,” said Hanna Mouchez, CEO and executive producer of MIAM! animation. “Following its remarkable journey so far, we are excited to partner with Youku and share the series’ engaging stories, educational content and profound environmental values with young viewers in China.”

The MIAM! animation team added, “We firmly believe that Edmond and Lucy will captivate the imaginations of Chinese children and families. The series showcases cutting-edge real-time CGI technology, delivering stunning visuals and immersive storytelling that will engage and inspire young viewers.”

“We are excited to work with MIAM! animation again to continually bring its great content to Youku and China,” said Yan Wang, Youku Kids International animation acquisition. “Edmond and Lucy inspires us a lot in environment and nature. From this show, kids would learn what are the composing parts of Mother Nature in aesthetic storytelling. We are looking forward to the launching.”
