Banged Up Gets Third Adaptation with Endemol Shine Poland

Endemol Shine Poland will be launching a new adaptation of Banijay Entertainment’s Banged Up for CANAL+.

“Banged Up is a bold, eye-opening format that challenges perceptions of crime, punishment and rehabilitation,” said Małgorzata Perkowska-Czaja, managing director of Endemol Shine Poland. “Its emotional intensity and authenticity resonate universally, and we are proud to bring this powerful, conversation-driving series to Polish viewers. This adaptation will shine a light on real stories, real people, and the reality of the prison system in Poland, while marking the first reality series for CANAL+ locally.”

The first two episodes will premiere on December 3, exclusively on CANAL+’s streaming platform. The Polish version will immerse seven influencers into the stark reality of prison life by placing them inside a decommissioned jail, living side-by-side with former offenders.

Additionally, Endemol Shine Poland has produced Ambulance for Polsat Cafe. The eight-part series will take viewers inside the heart of Warsaw’s emergency services.
