M6 marks the eighth broadcaster to order the format, following deals in the U.S., U.K., Australia, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. The Swedish version, which was filmed and produced with COVID-19 guidelines, is set to air on TV4 in the fall.

The format was originally created by Tuesday’s Child Productions and The LEGO Group. Endemol Shine Group arise the exclusive distributor of the format and all finished tape of LEGO Masters globally.

Nicolas Coppermann, CEO at Endemol Shine France, said: “Internationally there is a huge buzz around this format and having seen the success of LEGO Masters around the world. We are extremely confident that the show will be equally popular here in France and expect audiences here will fall in love with the creativity at the heart of the show.”

James Townley, global head of creative networks at Endemol Shine, added: “LEGO Masters is a proven success in multiple markets and we are incredibly proud of this traveling entertainment hit. Feel-good formats with plenty of optimism that attract a wide family audience are ideal for broadcasters around the world right now and it’s brilliant to see a French version commissioned by M6.”
