New Youth-Focused OTT Service Launches in Spain

The Spanish pubcaster RTVE has launched a new youth-oriented digital platform, Playz.

The free service boasts a range of original and interactive content, with all programming available online, on mobile devices and connected TVs. The launch slate includes scripted series such as Colegas, Mambo, Dorien and Inhibidos, alongside entertainment formats like The Challengers.

Playz will also feature magazine shows, documentaries and sports content, including La Liga Royale Champions League. The new service is designed to create opportunities for young Spanish content creators to target a new audience.
